Matt Rayner Exercise Physiology Studio has been carefully designed to cater for all levels of fitness experience. We cater for complex medical conditions and those who may have 1 or 2 niggly injuries but still want to be active and able to work around it.  

The studio provides a personal environment, by appointment only. This means you won't have to line up for equipment or be intimidated by other gym users!

As part of the initial session we discuss the best treatment plan for you moving forward and create either a home-based or gym-based program.

Your program is about you, for you!

With the equipment available in the studio we are able to build your program, practising with correct technique to ensure you are confident to perform the program. Each studio session is supervised to ensure appropriate exercises, load and technique. 

How often do I need to come to the studio?
Initially, once a week is recommended to develop a program and ensure you are performing the exercises correctly to get the most out of the program. Ongoing, weekly to fortnightly review sessions are recommended as you develop more confidence with your program independently. 

Can I come in more regularly?
You may wish to perform the majority of your weekly strength sessions in the studio. Often that would involve 2 weekly supervised sessions with each session having a different theme to keep the program interesting. This approach can be beneficial and reduce the need for buying equipment at home or attending a gym.
